Various Academic Activities
The Academic Activity in ALSA Japan can be divided into 3 patterns.

-ィAcademic Activity with other ALSA affiliated
countries
ィActivities at University
As of 2007, ALSA Japan consists of Chuo,
Tokai,
Tokyo
, Hitotsubashi and Waseda university. At
each university, discussion, debate or fieldwork
is held more than once a week, as well as
activities such as camps to strengthen membership.
Each member is encouraged to belong to one
local group which becomes a close community
for involved students.
These local chapters have the right to vote
about revision of the constitution at Council
Meeting, the general convention of ALSA.
ィ錢LSA Japan's Activity
ALSA Integration(AI),ALSA Transaction(AT),
and Legal Advance(LA) are the
main activities.
The features of these activities are integrated
as the following points.
1.It is an official activity of ALSA Japan
approved by the National Council
Meeting.
2.Students from different universities gather
together.
3.We can try our best to prepare for making
high-level activity.
4.We invite people from outside of ALSA such
as professors, lawyers, NGO members,
students
from other departments for giving
us good
help.
ィ顴ctivites with ALSA affiliated countries
Asian
Law Student's Forum, Asian Law Studnt's Conference, and Study
Trip are the main activities.
Asian Law Students。ッ
Forum (AF) is the biggest project among all member country, which is
held once a year as the General Assembly. The greatest
characteristic of AF is that the General Assembly, which is the
supreme decision-making body of ALSA, is held. At the General
Assembly, next International Board which manages ALSA is elected and
a host country for the Asian Law Students。ッ Conference is decided. At
he same time, the Governing Council, which consists of International
Board and
representatives and
vice-representatives
from each country, is held. The
Governing
Council is the decision-making
body second
only to the General Assembly
and amendments
of the Article, activities of
next period
and the future of ALSA are discussed
through
the Governing Council.
Asian Law Students。ッ
Conference (AC) is an international exchange project among several
countries. AC is, as well as AF, a representative project of
activities of ALSA for the year. AF and AC are international
exchange program that are held under the control of International
Board, that is an execution organ of ALSA and a host nation of AC is
decided through candidacy or election and acceptance at Government
Council in AF.
Study Trip (ST) is an international exchange project among two or more
countries. ST can be organized by signatories。ッ discretion of each member country,
and is held frequently in many
countries.
