About ALSA Japan

The Asian Law Students' Association Japan(ALSA Japan) is a non-profit, non-government, non-religious student organization. ALSA Japan was established in 1996, December 22nd after the visit of The European Law Students' Association and the Euro-Japan Law Students' Conference held in November of the same year. To achieve mutual understanding between Asian countries with various history and cultural backgrounds, we are conducting academic activity, cultural exchanges, and practical interactions with students in and outside Japan through the free position as a student, and the universality and diversity of law. At present, we have 5 Local Chapters, and a total of 180 members.
