In the cultural program, we set a purpose to promote understanding and esteem of each peculiar culture in order to achieve this ST aim; establishing essential friendship between Japanese law students and Korean law students built under the mutual understanding.

The culture is located in the base of the people's lives. And it highly influences the formation of individual belief and the sense of values. Therefore, when we have discussion academically under the idea of peace and impartiality, it is necessary to understand the cultural context on which people lead their own opinions about the academic issues.

In addition, it can be said that the culture is the unique one that had been brought up for a long time in each region. So, we should not only recognize our own country's culture with pride, but also appreciate and esteem other country's culture including its differences or its peculiarities without being tied to the common ideas of our own country. At least, when these are accomplished, we expect we can stand on the first step for "True mutual understanding" and "Essential friendship".

In this program, we hold 4 projects that attempt the understanding and the esteem of each country's culture by introducing the mother tongues, the traditional cultures and the cultures of the law.
